Queenie Cheung brings extensive expertise in international arbitration, commercial litigation, contract law, professional negligence, construction and insurance to her role as an associate at Weintraub Huang LLP. Prior to joining our team, Queenie honed her skills at a prestigious international Bay Street firm, where she focused on international arbitration, construction and insurance law matters. With experience spanning different international law firms across three jurisdictions, Queenie offers a diverse and comprehensive perspective to our practice.
Deeply engaged in the field of international arbitration, Queenie handles various arbitration cases, including cases under UNCITRAL Rules, ICC Rules and HKIAC Rules etc. Queenie is a Fellow Arbitrator of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. She has also served as a moot arbitrator for prominent competitions such as the Vis Moot and the Vis East Moot for several years. Queenie has co-authored a chapter on Hong Kong arbitration law in the second edition of "The Healthy Award In International Commercial Arbitration" with a world-renowned international arbitrator and arbitration professor. Additionally, her article titled "The Nature of 'Goods' and the Bundle of Property Rights in the Virtual World" was also published in a book called "Commercial Transactions in the Virtual World".
Queenie is proficient in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
